The AZNPF does not supply funds for overhead costs of institutions, travel to professional meetings, self-education, elaborate fixed equipment, or support while completing the requirements for advanced degrees (apart from that indirectly involved in research assistantships). The AZNPF will not accept applications for the support of meetings and conferences or travel costs for participants.
Grantees are expected to acknowledge AZNPF grant support in all publications and in poster and oral presentations of data for projects supported either in full or in part by AZNPF. All grantees are expected to provide a brief but meaningful report to AZNPF, detailing the manner in which the grant monies have been used, documenting results and progress, and identifying the publication(s) in which any aspect of the project has or will be reported on.
Any material change of circumstances (e.g., change or move of principal investigator) shall be reported immediately to AZNPF, which shall retain the right to discontinue funding. All published works must acknowledge in an appropriate manner that the research is supported by the Arizona Chapter of the National Parkinson Foundation.
