National Parkinson's Organizations

  • National Parkinson Foundation
    The NPF is the largest and oldest national Parkinson foundation in the United States. NPF supports Parkinson-related research, patient care, education, training, and outreach. There are now 39 affiliated Chapters of NPF throughout the U.S., Puerto Rico, and the Bahamas; 39 Centers of Excellence in the U.S., including 12 in four continents around the world; 8 NPF Care Centers; and 7 NPF Outreach Centers. Their Chapters (including the AZNPF) and Centers work with hundreds of persons in Support Groups throughout the U.S.
  • American Parkinson Disease Association
    The American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA) is a grassroots organization serving PWPs and their caregivers in three vital areas: research, patient and caregiver support, and education.
  • Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research
    The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research is dedicated to ensuring the development of a cure for Parkinson's disease within this decade through an aggressively funded research agenda.
  • Parkinson Alliance
    The Parkinson Alliance is a national non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds to help finance the most promising research to find the cause and cure for Parkinson's disease.
  • Parkinson's Disease Foundation
    The Parkinson's Disease Foundation (PDF) is a leading national presence in Parkinson's disease research, education and public advocacy. We are working for the nearly one million people in the US living with Parkinson's by funding promising scientific research and supporting people with Parkinson's, their families and caregivers through educational programs and support services.
  • Parkinson's Institute
    The Parkinson’s Institute, an internationally recognized organization, is dedicated to finding the cause(s) and a cure for Parkinson's disease (PD).
  • Young Onset Parkinson's Association
    The mission of YOPA is to serve all young-onset Parkinson's patients by providing them with empathy, information, an affiliation with others like themselves and a connection with the young onset community.
